Tap the screen and a ripple spreads out from your finger, carrying a tone and a matching pulse of haptic feedback. Hold, and it settles into a slow, steady circle. Drag, and it trails along behind you. Five fingers at once, if you like. There is nothing to learn, nothing to score and nothing to get wrong.
That is the whole app. It's for the minutes when you're wound up, or can't settle, or just need something to do with your hands while your head catches up. It was built for people who bounce straight off sitting still with their eyes closed: if you have ADHD, anxiety or autism, active sensory engagement often works where passive stillness doesn't.
What's in it
Interactive visuals
Sensory-friendly ripples and particles that respond to every touch, up to five fingers at once. Visual intensity is adjustable, and there's a high contrast mode, a reduced motion mode and a colour-blind-friendly palette.
Three sound modes
- Relax — soft flowing tones for winding down
- Focus — clearer sounds for concentration
- Sleep — deep gentle tones for bedtime
Touch sounds and ambient audio have independent volume controls, so you can have one without the other.
Guided breathing
A breathing circle with the inhale, hold and exhale set by you — for grounding when things get sharp, or as a regular practice. No timers, no streaks, no pressure.
Haptics
Vibration synchronised to touch, with adjustable intensity — or switched off entirely for quiet use.
Themes and pricing
Ocean Waves is free, and it's the whole app: nothing is locked away behind the paid themes except their own colours and sounds. Forest, Sunset, Night Sky, Spring Garden and Brown Noise are $0.99 each, or $3.99 for all of them. One-time purchases — there are no subscriptions and no ads.
Privacy
MeloTouch collects nothing. There are no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no account. Your settings live on your device and never leave it, the app works fully offline, and the only network request it ever makes is to Apple or Google to verify an in-app purchase.
Not a medical device
MeloTouch is for relaxation and general wellness. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional care. If you are dealing with persistent anxiety or other health concerns, please talk to a qualified healthcare provider.
